Banking: How to Earn Big Money From Savings and Fixed Deposit Accounts Nationwide

Make Money on Savings/Fixed Deposit Accounts.

earn cash savings fixed deposit accounts

Banks operate different types of accounts, namely; Savings, Current, Special, Fixed Deposit and Domiciliary Accounts. But today am going to be discussing on how to earn extra cash on your savings or fixed deposit account. These two accounts which i just made mention of allows the owner to deposit money and earn little interest every month. These accounts usually require a little or a minimum balance to open. A customer could visit his/her bank to make inquiries about the different options available to save money. It should be noted that some banks pay higher interests than others.

How to Open a Fixed Deposit Account

Fixed deposit account as the name implies is an investment account whereby the owner is meant to to save his or her money for some period of time and in returns earns interest according to the percentage of the amount in the account.

For those who have some idle money that they may not need soon, this might just be an account that they should consider. It is not open to other risky investment options such as shares. It encourages savings culture because it will not allow the owner to withdraw the money at will.

A fixed deposit account ensures that a person definitely gets returns at the maturity date or the stipulated date of agreement with the bank.
A depositor can also open different types of fixed accounts with different maturity dates. Comparing the interest rates from different banks will help the depositor to choose the right bank for his fixed deposit.

Special accounts

Different banks have introduced different banks accounts to woo customers and discourage them from making regular withdrawals from their accounts.
A special account will also encourage bank customers to maintain a stipulated minimum balance in the account.
The features of the account include providing a reasonable high interest rate.
The special account also provides incentives to make the customer to save towards a specific target. Sometimes, the bank gives the depositor a bonus for maintaining a certain balance, usually within a year. It can also give the depositor access to loan facilities.

Savings accounts

Savings accounts allow the owners to withdraw money at any time either using their savings book, debit card or withdrawal book over the counter.
It gives free options to access money than other types of accounts. Different banks have different savings accounts, which attract different interest rates. However, the rates paid on savings accounts are not usually high like fixed deposit account.

The best place to earn interest is in a Savings Account. Don't waste your time looking for a checking account with a decent interest rate.
Think of a savings account like a loan to a bank. Banks borrow that money and lend it to someone else. They make profit on the difference between what they pay to you for lending (close to 0%), and what they charge people to borrow (on credit cards, usually more than 15%). Nice business! But really, why give banks a 0% loan? Often it’s because of sticky retail deposits. That's the bank's term for account holders who put a lot of money in a savings account and never touch it. Fortunately, many online banks now offer up to 0.9%, and by using our simple rules, you can start earning better returns on your money.
Switch to a high-interest online savings account.

If you’re OK with moving money to a bank without branches, it’s possible to find accounts that pay 1% or more. You don’t have to necessarily close your existing savings accounts, but keep enough in them to avoid fees. Though some consumers may feel nervous about online banking, it’s becoming increasingly popular, and mobile apps make it very convenient. Rest assured that as long as your online bank is a member of the FDIC, your deposits of up to $250,000 are insured by the government.

Save and Earn

Its that easy with Savings Account you can start saving today with as little as ₦1, 000.
Save your money.

Earn interest.
Get money from any ATM nationwide for free to spend on whatever you like.
Competitive interest rates. (Interest is forfeited if more than 3 withdrawals are made in a month)

So I will like to ask you readers, among Fixed deposit, special and savings account, which do you prefer?

Buying Auto Insurance: 10 Things You Should Know

10 Things You Should Know About Buying Auto Insurance Today

tips on buying auto insurance

Insurance Company Charges Determination

Insurance companies underwrite to assess an applicant based on the risk involved, after that, he or she is then grouped with other similar risks and decide if the company will accept the application.
Based on the results of the underwriting process, the rating assigns a price based on what the insurer believes it will cost to assume the financial responsibility for the applicant’s potential claim.
These two factors determine what you pay for auto insurance. The first factor is agreement and the second factor is rating just as i mentioned above.

 GUIDELINES BEHIND BUYING AUTO INSURANCE

Each USA insurance company has their own rating system, But today, am going to show you general guidelines that all companies follow.
Before i drop these guidelines, i will like us to talk about insurance claim frequency which i will say it is kind of linked with the insurance guides am about to list.

Claim frequency measures how often an insured event occurs within a group relative to the number of policies contained in that group. It will surprise you to know that the single greatest influence on the rating process is claim frequency. This does not mean how many times you specifically have made an insurance claim, although that will have an additional effect.  Persons sharing characteristics with high claims groups will be charged more for insurance coverage.

Tort System vs. No-Fault System

Each state must implement either a tort system or a no-fault system. The system your state has implemented will determine what kind of insurance is available to you. The three basic coverages sold under the tort system are bodily injury liability insurance, property damage liability insurance and uninsured motorists coverage. In a no-fault state, coverages will vary, but under a no-fault system your insurance company pays you directly for your losses as a result of injuries sustained in an accident, regardless of who is at fault. Check with your state insurance department for questions concerning tort or no-fault state systems.

Check Into Optional Coverage

The most commonly recognized coverages, in addition to the basic liability package, are collision and comprehensive coverages. Collision coverage pays for physical damage to your car as a result of your auto colliding with an object such as a tree or another car. This is relatively expensive coverage and is not required by law. Comprehensive coverage pays for damage to your auto from almost all other causes, including fire, severe weather, vandalism, floods and theft. This coverage will also cover broken glass and windshield damage. Comprehensive coverage is less expensive than collision, but is also optional. Other optional coverages include medical payments coverage, rental reimbursement coverage and towing and labor coverage.

Shop Around Before You Buy

When shopping for auto insurance, premium quotations are a useful tool for comparison of different companies’ products. When asking for price quotations, it is crucial that you provide the same information to each agent or company. The agent will usually request the following information: description of your vehicle, its use, your driver’s license number, the number of drivers in your household, the coverages and limits you want.

Where to Shop

Check the newspaper and yellow pages of the telephone directory for companies and agents in your area. In addition, ask your neighbors, relatives and friends for recommendations on insurance companies and agents. In particular, ask them what kind of claim service they have received from the companies they recommend. Remember to shop around to get the best price and service.

Specific Factors that Affect Your Rate

Your driving record – drivers with previous violations or accidents are considered to be higher risk
Your geographic territory – urban areas have more claims than rural areas
Your gender and age – males have more accidents; certain age groups have more claims
Your marital status – married people show lower rates of claims
Prior insurance coverage – if you have been cancelled for non-payment of premiums
Vehicle use – higher annual mileage results in higher exposure to risk
Make and model of your vehicle – luxury and sports cars average a higher number of claims

Ask Your Agent About Discounts

Discounts are awarded because the insurance company sees you as a “better risk.” Here are some discounts you should look for: multiple vehicles, driver education courses, good student, safety devices, anti-theft devices, low mileage, good driver/renewal, auto/home package and dividends. Not all states offer all discounts, so check with your agent to see if you qualify.

Where to Go for More Information

Information is available to consumers from a number of unbiased sources. These sources include public libraries, state insurance departments, online resources, consumer groups and consumer publications. Every state insurance department has personnel available to answer questions regarding auto insurance coverage and many departments publish premium comparisons to make shopping around easier.

For Your Protection

Once you have selected the insurance coverages you need and an insurance agent or company, there are steps you can take to make certain you get your money’s worth. Before signing an application for any insurance coverage, call you state insurance department and verify that the company and the agent are licensed to do business in your state. It is illegal for unlicensed insurers to sell insurance, and if you buy from an unlicensed insurer, you have no guarantee that the coverage you pay for will ever be honored.

Read Your Policy Carefully

You should be aware that an auto insurance policy is a legal contract. It is written so your rights and responsibilities, as well as those of the insurance company, are clearly stated. When you purchase auto insurance, you will receive a policy. You should read that policy and make certain you understand its contents. If you have questions about your insurance policy, contact your insurance agent for clarification. If you still have questions, turn to your state insurance department.

How to Achieve Your Dreams as a Nigerian Student

Dreams they say comes to pass, yes I do believe that but what they didn't tell us concerning dream is; how long it will take for it to come to pass.

I dream alot and my dreams range from ordinary things to extra-ordinary things for example, I want to be the most influential man in my sphere of Life and also to be a genius in my field and sometimes staying for minutes trying to Telepathically communicate with a Lizard, insane right?.

Having a dream or a desire is one of the most wonderful gift to mankind,of which every individual could subscribe to but it is also amazing that these dreams are being fueled by individuals themselves. So,in other words you can decipher to which extent you pursue your dreams. Well,it is also important for you to know that dreams are desires, ambitions and purposes born already in a realm beyond the physical world(imagination). It becomes our responsibility to pursue these dreams although some environmental factors may not be in synchrony with it.

What our dreams does to us is unspeakable at times but if you hold onto it with a never given up spirit you are sure to see it come true. But how long does one need to hold on to his dreams (that's where the issue is). Out of the seven billion earth inhabitants only one has an answer to that.

Passing WAEC examinations is one of the best things that can happen to any secondary school graduates at least they don't need to write it again (they are done with this stage).
But then what happens after graduating? That moment where you graduate full of dreams like a bee to a honey comb.

Life begins to throw a lot of things at you. You wrote Jamb, jamb said they love your name so they decide to make you write again the year after or you applied a particular school with your high score with all hope of gaining addmission but you got rejected. This time what your dream require from you is to be stubborn with it.

Thomas Edison had a dream, one which he already conceived in his imagination.,despite his concurrent failures he was never deterred because he believed in his dream and he also had the willpower to fuel it. And today, every single individual is a testimony of his dream which later became reality in the physical world. Now, come to talk of some certain limiting factors...

It is so absurd that if I should have a child who wishes to pursue a career in space travel or car design I would find it so unfortunate telling him it's impossible because where I reside in this part of the world does not provide a safe haven for such a pursuit. Another set-back is having people around who don't have a big picture about life and who seldom believe in their dreams becoming a reality, talk more of believing in someone else's dream.

I once heard someone capitulate that as SPIRITUAL SUICIDE... Where one could have a dream and later settle for something less because he or she lacks what it takes to give the dream life in it's Maxim. But one should note that even in the midst of these setbacks a dream can still be born. Because a dream conceived in the world of your imagination where no limitation lies could still be made manifest if one has what it takes to fuel and nurture the desire.

In summary,I will like to say there are no limitations to a dream conceived and worked upon by the required strength and willpower. And as Martin Luther King Jr would say that "If you can't fly, then you run, and if you can't run, then you walk and if you can't walk either then you crawl ".for me, even if you die..., atleast you were pursuing a mission called..... "Your Dreams."

Spam Comments Moderation: How to Automatically Get Rid of Spam Comments on Blogger and Wordpress

Spam comment blocker

Spam Comments are mostly for promotions or for backlinks.

Consider these things and hopefully you can get help.

In Wordpress, you can install and activate plugin like akmiest or anti spam they will help you do the job.

But what if you do not want to install any plugin or your website/blog platform does not support that?

What you will do is that whenever you are going to approve any comment on your blog or website, always
check these things before you approve or delete any post comment.

Name: One of the important thing in comment is that you can easily identify spammers and real user if you can use your brain.

Do not approve comments with names like companies, keywords or others.

Mostly, spammers comment using keywords as name because they want links and rank that particular keywords.

Email: Well i hope you know what is email and what name
real people use in creating an email.

So do not approve comments with emails likedddfhjh.bla bla. .com.

Comments: Now here is the real part comment. If the name and email is ok then you have to be more extra careful while going through the user comment because i have noticed that most of new bloggers approve comments without checking all this things.

One of the big mistake which you must not make is by not reading comments
carefully sometimes they link someparticular keyword with links. Sometimes they appreciate you and in end they put regards and link.

Most times we approve them and think how nice they are but all  they want is to attach their link to your blog.

Also endeavour to read their comments so as to know what they are talking like sometimes you will read hi i am his name, i like to invite you in our promotional posts see google for this.

Be careful and do not accept these type of comments instead delete them because they are spam comments and might be harmful to your blog or website.

I hope this will help you in spam comments moderation.

Good luck.

How do I Link my Domain from 'Whogohost to Blogger'

Whogohost to Blogger Domain setup

Whogohost is a Nigerian hosting company which sells domains and hosting bandwidths or space for mostly Nigerians.

Recently, I have discovered some disturbing issues of domain setup on their website. When I purchased my first domain from them, when i logged into their dashboard to add all the necessary values I need for the linking of my domain, I could not find a single clue on how to go about the setup. Most especially if you want to do a custom domain setup from whogohost to blogger, you will find it very difficult to do so from their dashboard.

Finding the option to add Blogger CNAME values in whogohost dashy is so complicated that a new blogger  with few or no knowledge of setting up a domain name to a blog will end up quitting.
Whogohost to blogger

How to Setup Blogger CNAME in Whogohost

Blogger CNAME setup is not included in whogohost  dashboard, instead is being given seperately. You can hardly see it on the site although when you search extensively, you can find it on Google using this keyword "whogohost to blogger" or you can as well find the CNAME FORM here https://www.whogohost.com/blogspot-CNAME.php

Whogohost CNAME form for blogger

Below are the things you need to fill in the CNAME form:

 1. Enter your email ID

2. Type a number as a security PIN (any number)

3. Enter the domain name

4. Enter Subdomain 1 as ‘www’

5. Enter CNAME value 1 as ghs.google.com

6. Enter the unique subdomain value provided by Blogger for your blog in Subdomain 2

7. Enter the unique CNAME value provided by
Blogger for your blog When you finish filling the click ‘Send CNAME Records’ to open a support ticket.

Note: this process will be taken over by the customer care. Wait for 24 hours to get it completed.
