List of FUTO 2016/17 1st Semester Resumption Of Academic Activities Requirements

The genetal public anf all students of the Federal University Of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) are hereby informed that the University academic activities in continuation of the 2016/2017 Harmattan Semester will resume as follows:

Year One students of the Institution would be expected to return on Monday May 8, 2017.

Year 2&3 students would return on May 10 (i.e two days later) Also, Year Four and Five are expected to return May 15th, 2017.

Each student is to pay the sum of N12,500 being fine levied on the students for their misconduct and destruction of school properties in the violent protests that took place in February 2017
In the accreditation for entrance in the university campus before they can get entrance again into the school, each student would be also required to present an evidence of a notarized undertaking of good behavior.

It will be recalled that students of Federal University of Technology Owerri had on Friday February 17, 2017 gone on rampage to protest what they described as extortionist policies of the University management.
