One of the largest fertilizer companies, an Agro business entity in Ghana which is our (KPMG) client is seeking competent and suitable professionals to join its team.

Summary of functions & Responsibilities
  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate fixed asset register to support financial reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Track the Group’s fixed asset movement and fixed asset disposal activities and ensure compliance to approved policies and procedures
  • Verify accuracy of all outputs for proper accounting purposes and completeness
  • Assist in providing responses to external audit queries
  • Liaise with relevant heads of department to perform budget performance review by tracking actual performance against budget
  • Assist in preparing the organisation’s monthly quarterly and annual bank reconciliations statements
  •  Ensure preparation of payroll and income tax returns are properly done
  • Assist in the processing of staff salaries
  • Extract periodic trial balances, perform reconciliation of ledger accounts and raise journal vouchers for ledger accounts adjustments.

Job Requirements
  • Applicant is expected to have a minimum of 5 years progressive work experience before applying
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Partly qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CA and other related certification)
