Nigerian Government Should Improve Reading Culture - Zakari

Musa Sule Zakari, the Vice Chairman, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Kogi State Chapter has called on government to improve reading culture in the country.



Zakari made the call during the launch of his book titled Echoes from the Theatre, in partnership with Service Avalanche, Consults and System Limited, held in Abuja. He said poor reading skills could make a child develop poor attitude toward school and adviced Nigerian government to improve reading culture among students.

According to him, The book was written in poetry to improve reading culture and address the challenges facing the society. “It is a communication that was revealed to me through inspiration. There are various sections in the book like social justice, love, religion, death, philosophy, unity, rivers, streams, timing, the moon, among others.
